Welcome

Hi, I am Charles Hallifax. I am British but lived and worked in Chile from 1989 until late 2003 and now make regular trips back there. Experience Chile is owned and managed by me along with a team of competent, local staff based in Santiago, Chile managed by Claudia Salgueiro......yes, that's us above.

We specialise in Chile because we know the country well - probably better than any other travel company -  we maintain our local knowledge up to date and we believe we are able to offer the best personal attention in the market. Our aim is to keep things personal by overseeing each reservation request and attending to our clients' individual requirements. We welcome requests from singles, couples or small groups from ANY country in the world. We can also arrange bespoke itineraries and VIP trips with complete discretion.

To ensure that we deliver a quality service I have personally visited over 90% of the hotels and every main tourist area in the country. The local knowledge that I and my staff maintain is paramount to the service we offer and our policy, therefore, is to work ONLY with hotels that we know from personal experience -  in effect "checking out" hotels and travel itineraries on behalf of our clients. Such knowledge we maintain from regular inspection trips throughout the year and from input directly from clients.

Apart from our two staffed offices in the UK and Chile we also work closely with a network of professional, local suppliers throughout Chile to ensure that we are able to offer reliable, local services. For our clients based in the United States our affiliate travel company called Travelmore is on hand to take your call.

History

Experience Chile has been born out of our successful hotel reservation service www.hotelschile.com -  active since 1996, handling reservations for thousands of people, many of whom have written to us about their great experience in Chile - please refer to our "Testimonials Section".

We offer many types of itinerary which you can choose from, but you can also build you own itinerary using the "Create Your Own" process. The longer itineraries have been specifically designed with rest time - an essential part of a relaxing holiday - so please consider the benefits of a longer itinerary.
